Hydro Flask has been around since 2009, it is an insulated steel bottle that keeps your drinks cold for 24 hours or hot for 12 hours. You can purchase them on their Hydro Flask website, Amazon, sport stores, and just about anywhere else. I purchased mine two years ago at my school’s bookstore and I bring it with me everywhere.

You may think it is unnecessary to buy a water bottle, but spending money on a 24 pack of plastic water bottles can add up over the years. Not to mention the amount of plastic that is used which is harmful for the environment.

A Hydro Flask water bottle is on the pricier side, but it is a onetime purchase and can last you for a long time depending on how you take care of it. It is eco friendly and when you are on the go you can fill them up at the nearest coffee shop or water fountain.

You can continue to pay $2 for a water in the vending machine, but if you want a water bottle or coffee mug that will keep your drink hot or cold, I recommend investing in a Hydro Flask. If you do not like any of the colors, Hydro Flask offers the choice of customizing your own item.
